Their developer couldn’t help any more. We kept them running.

Links Surveying’s business depends on its custom software. When the company that built it could no longer help, OneIT stepped in, got to grips with the code, and kept everything running. Then we built Links a customer portal that lets clients order, track and receive their jobs online.

Ben Millar

We had an existing software that was started back in 2013, and that company was no longer able to help us out, and Dave and his team stepped in awesomely to find all the code and all the backend technologies and help us out and keep us running.

The challenge

Links runs on digital data. Ben Millar says no off-the-shelf system could give it the complete digital integration its volumes demand, so the business relies on custom software.

Then the company behind that software could no longer support it. Links was left running a critical system with nobody to maintain it.

The solution

OneIT took over, tracked down the code and backend technologies, and kept the system running. With that secure, we built Links’ customer portal, where clients log in to order, track and receive their jobs.

New features now arrive in agile sprints, a small, manageable piece at a time, so Links gets to use improvements sooner.

The benefits

A critical system with no developer behind it was rescued without disruption.

Clients serve themselves

Support you can count on

Ben says there’s always someone on hand to jump in. “We’ve never been let down.”
